​The Department of Business and Employment hosted the doing business with international companies: Japan workshop on 18 October 2011.

This practical session focused on Japan and provided information about Japanese business etiquette and how attempting some of the customs will assist your business in developing favourable relationships with Japanese companies.

The importance of customs in eating, seating and business card exchange were presented as well as the corporate process, and how culturally sensitive practices and policies can win the job.
