This service is coordinated by the Department of Business and Employment on behalf of the Northern Territory Government of Australia.

Your registration will ensure that your skills and experience are considered for any potential temporary, casual and permanent Administrative Officer 1 and Administrative Officer 2 vacancies across Northern Territory Government Agencies.

Experience and Skills

Ideally you will have previous office experience plus skills and competencies within any of the following areas:

Recruitment	Payroll	Training
Medical / Health	Courier	Records Management / Archives
Legal / Ministerial	Finance	Reception / Front Counter
Procurement / Contract	Accounts	School Office / Classroom Administration.
Secretarial / Personal Assistant	Data Entry	Fleet / Transport Administration

Employment Conditions and Salary

Terms and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Public Sector Employment & Management Act.

	Effective 20/08/2009
Administrative Officer 1 (age 17-20 years):	$24,572 - $32,446
Administrative Officer 1 (21 years and over):	$37,479 - $40,795
Administrative Officer 2 (any age):	$41,330 - $45,118

Existing NT Government Employees

Existing NT Government employees at AO1 and AO2 level are eligible to join the program. Employees in other streams of employment, up to the equivalent of an AO2 level, who wish to be considered for administrative vacancies, may also apply. Please note, in some instances, existing employees may have the right of appeal and those applicants are advised to refer to the Job Vacancies website for notification of selections/promotions.
