You’d be bloomin’ crazy to miss these free business workshops!

Are you looking for inspiration to help your business grow? So were the Wilkinsons from Bloomin’ Desert Nursery. Their search led them to the free Business Upskills workshops available through the Territory Business Centre and since then, they haven’t looked back.

Louise Wilkinson credits the Upskills courses with giving them the confidence to expand and grow their business.

‘Five years ago we took over an established nursery that featured a landscaping and nursery business and now thanks to the Upskills workshops we’ve extended the business into all these other components – a café, plant hire and we’ve recently added a kerbing (concrete garden edging) service into the mix,’ said Louise.

‘All this expansion has been inspired by the Upskills courses we’ve attended. The workshops have taught us how to manage people and our time without it becoming too stressful.

‘The Upskills workshops have helped us attract and retain staff, so now we have a really good core group of people, who love working here.’
