Alice Springs Mining Services Expo​ An annual expo which showcases the mining and related industry opportunities in the Alice Springs and Tennant Creek region.

Try'a Trade​ WorldSkills Northern Territory Try'a Trade enables Year 9 students to 'have-a-go' at various skill and trade occupations.

June

WorldSkills WorldSkills competitions offer young Australians the chance to develop and improve their skills through challenging competitions, and to demonstrate the importance of pride, dignity and self esteem in each individuals work. Winners of the regional competitions can travel and compete at a national level.

August

Careers Expo​ Careers Expo offers career information and pathways advice to students. Exhibitors include Territory-wide and interstate employers, training providers, government departments and education organisations.

September

Adult Learners' Week​ Adult Learners' Week is an opportunity to celebrate, promote and advance all forms of adult learning and highlight its value to the Northern Territory community.
NT Training Awards​ These annual awards honour the top apprentices, trainees, vocational students, Indigenous students, employers, schools, training providers and other people and organisations committed to training.

Charles Darwin Research & Innovation Medal​ This medal recognises a lifetime of achievement and is awarded to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the economic, social and environmental development of the Northern Territory and its people.
Defence Support Industry Awards​ These awards recognise the outstanding achievements of local businesses that are consistent with or have contributed to the aims of the Northern Territory Defence Support Industry Development Strategy during the year.
October Business Month​ A month-long program of inspiring, educational and motivational business events, held in all regions of the Northern Territory. ​
Research & Innovation Awards​ These annual awards recognise and reward Territorians who, through their dedication to creating new knowledge, to finding solutions to problems and coming up with innovative ideas, have helped the Territory prosper economically, socially or environmentally.

Anzac Spirit Study Tour Award ​This award promotes the importance of Anzac Day, Australia’s involvement in various conflicts since, and the importance of peacekeeping missions today. The award is open to all Year 9 and 10 students enrolled in Northern Territory schools.
Australian Training Awards​ The Australian Training Awards are the peak, national awards for vocational education and training, recognising innovation and excellence in the training sector. These Awards are the culmination of state and territory awards with winners from each state and territory competing in the national finals.​
​Youth Business Awards These awards recognise student achievements in the area of small business enterprise. The awards are open to all Northern Territory Certificate of Education students.​

Research & Innovation Postgraduate Scholarships ​These scholarships are awarded annually to assist students who are enrolled in postgraduate degrees and are undertaking research that is aligned to the Northern Territory Government’s research priorities.
