The Department of Business and Employment provides sponsorship for several awards presented by other organisations. These include:

• NT Young Achiever Awards

  Presented by Awards Australia, the purpose of the Northern Territory Young Achiever Awards is to acknowledge, encourage and most importantly promote the positive achievements of young Territorians aged between 14 and 26 years of age. These awards are presented in April each year.

• Master Builders Association NT awards

  These awards are presented by the Master Builders Association of Northern Territory and recognise excellence in building and construction from the smallest renovation to the largest commercial project in the Territory. Major award winners are entered into the prestigious Master Builders Australia National Excellence Awards.
