The Employment and Training Division within the Department of Business and Employment has developed an NT Occupation Shortage List in response to stakeholder requests for more information about occupations experiencing shortages, recruitment difficulties and skill gaps.

The NT Occupation Shortage List covers skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled occupations.

The current NT Occupation Shortage List (NTOSL) is presently undergoing a conceptual review. The 2011 NTOSL will remain current and in force until this review is concluded.
