The Draft Indigenous Economic Development (IED) Strategy 2009 – 2012 has been released for comment following a review of the 2005 – 2008 IED Strategy. This is a genuine attempt to consolidate and document the Territory Government’s commitments to Indigenous economic development.
The Strategy has been developed in consultation with the NT Indigenous Economic Development Taskforce and Indigenous Advisory Council.
The Strategy promotes improved training, employment and business participation/ownership outcomes for Indigenous Territorians. [more]
