Indigenous Economic Development Activity Maps

Indigenous Economic Development (IED) has developed a website application to store, update, query and report indigenous development activity in the NT.  This web application allows users from various agencies to enter their activities into a back-end database - promoting the larger context of use within the organisation showing tasks or actions performed by actors in their roles.

The map below depicts the various indigenous developments in the NT for the Yearly NT Committee Submission 2008.

This map was derived from the back-end database using MapInfo and Mapbasic programming (to automate the processes of creating maps so that non-GIS users could use the system to produce maps).
