Enterprise Facilitation Project

In February 2008 this was the message that Dr Ernesto Sirolli presented to the Katherine Community. The Katherine Economic Development Committee recognised that there was a place for enterprise facilitation in the Katherine Region to supplement and enhance existing programs.

Growing Katherine Business Ltd has been created as an entity to receive funding from various sources and to manage the operation of the enterprise facilitation project. The company structure offers a strong governance framework and allows the Katherine community a sense of ownership of the project through membership.

The enterprise facilitation service is available for free and in confidence to any local individual with an idea for starting or expanding a business. The facilitator will provide one on one assistance, linking clients to programs and resources offered by development organisations and professionals.
