About the IED Forum 2007

The Host

The Northern Territory Government was pleased to host the IED (Indigenous Economic Development) Forum 2007, 'Partnerships and Pathways' through the Department of Business, Economic and Regional Development (DBERD) with guidance and assistance from the Northern Territory IED Taskforce and a Reference Group established for the purpose.

DBERD has a critical role to play in supporting the Government's priority of maintaining a strong, vibrant and growing Northern Territory economy. The Department works in partnership with business, industry and the community to help with key investment decisions. Also the Department provides a coordinated approach to supporting sustainable economic development, combining business and industry functions with regional and Indigenous economic development functions.
