Monthly BARC Seminars were introduced at Berrimah Farm in 1991 to give staff an opportunity to talk about their work in a formal way and in doing so to develop confidence and, hopefully, improve on their skills in oral presentations. After 17 years it was time for a change. The new RDPIFR Science Seminars will expand on the successful format. The seminars will now cover the minerals and energy, aquaculture and fishing and primary industries sectors. This will cover many aspects of the departments activities.

Below are past series of seminars.
