 Zoonoses

Diseases that can spread from animals to humans are known as zoonoses (pronounced zoo-oh-no-sees). Zoonoses can be spread by livestock, pets, feral animals and wildlife, and can infect humans by direct contact or indirectly through contaminated water or soil.
