Exploration Investment Attraction Initiative: 2003-2007
Building the Territory's Resource Base is a 4-year, $15.2 million exploration investment attraction initiative aimed at creating greater opportunity for explorers to access the untapped resources of the Territory.
The 3 main elements of the investment attraction initiative are:
- Provision of New Generation Geoscientific Data and Promotion of Exploration Potential ($13 million over 4 years)
- Grant and Maintenance of Exploration and Mining Title ($1 million over 4 years)
- Land Access Support and Indigenous Liaison ($1.2 million over 4 years)
