Current Projects
NTGS conducts field-based geoscientific projects throughout the Territory. These aim to collect, interpret and synthesise geoscientific data, which is then disseminated free-of-charge to the mining, petroleum and hydrothermal sectors, and to other clients, in order to promote the Territory as an attractive exploration investment destination.

Geophysical Projects
Geophysics projects aim to acquire, process and interpret regional geophysical datasets (aeromagnetics, gravity and radiometrics), in order to integrate this data into NTGS regional geoscience projects, and to freely disseminate data and interpretation products to explorers. About 91% of the Territory is now covered by high-definition airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys. NTGS has an on-going gravity acquisition program to increase and enhance geophysical coverage of the Territory.
