The Chief Minister’s Awards for Excellence in the Public Sector are the Northern Territory Government’s centrepiece for showcasing the exceptional talent and energy we have in the Northern Territory Public Sector.
The Awards are designed to recognise the best and brightest initiatives that make a real difference to public sector administration and to the broader Territory. The Medal acknowledges individual employees’ outstanding service the goes above and beyond the call of duty. The Awards and Medals seek to inspire and motivate others to better serve Territorians.
The criteria for the Awards focus on initiatives that deliver quality and sustainable outcomes and efficiencies that maximise long term benefits for Territorians with emphasis on leadership and innovative practices.
The criteria for the Medal are outstanding and meritorious public service by a particular individual.
These awards are an opportunity for Northern Territory Public Sector work teams and individuals to be recognised and rewarded for continuous improvement, innovation, outstanding performance and extraordinary results.
