The Northern Territory Research and Innovation Grants Program

The Northern Territory Research and Innovation Grants Program is an opportunity for researchers and innovators to access funds for projects that will benefit the Territory. 

Applications
Applications are to be submitted to the Executive Officer, Northern Territory Research and Innovation Board by 31 July 2009.  Late applications will not be accepted.

Research Grants
The Northern Territory Research Grants Program provides partner support for research projects seeking other sources of external funding, such as through Australian Government Programs.

Any research project that can demonstrate potential benefits to the Northern Territory will be considered. [more]

Proof of concept grants
Proof of Concept Grants are offered in recognition that some research and innovation projects require funding in the initial stages of their development.

This grant provides an opportunity to discover with reasonable speed and at a relatively low cost whether the project has the potential to be expanded into a larger-scale research project with good prospects of success.
