Her Honour the Honourable Sally Thomas AM

Her Honour was sworn in as the 20th Administrator and first female Administrator of the Northern Territory by Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, in the Chamber of the Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory on Monday 31 October 2011.

This website provides information on the statutory, constitutional and ceremonial roles of the Administrator of the Northern Territory.

Her Honour and Mr Duncan McNeill reside at Government House, located on The Esplanade in Darwin; Government House has been the private residence of Government Residents, Directors and Administrators of the Northern Territory since 1870.
