Australian Training Awards

Over 750 people are expected to attend the Australian Training Awards, being held for the first time in Darwin on Thursday 20 November at the Darwin Convention Centre.

The awards are the culmination of the state and territory awards with winners from each state and territory competing in the national finals.

Northern Territory representatives are in the running for five of the Australian Training Awards' eleven award categories, including one of the six organisational categories and four of the five student categories.

Students will be judged on their applications as well as being interviewed by a panel of judges.

The Australian Training Awards are the peak national awards for vocational education and training, recognising innovation and excellence in the training sector.
